Imperial Homegoods provides authentic Middle Eastern cultural settings for film, television, advertising, photography, theatre, professional styling and approved commercial projects.
Our Auckland-based collection brings together real Arabic Majlis seating, Afghani Toshak, handmade rugs, portable floor seating, low tables and complementary cultural pieces to create a complete, visually convincing setting.
This service is for commercial productions and professional projects. It is not general household hire or cheap party rental.
A Complete Middle Eastern Setting — Not Just Individual Props
A culturally appropriate set needs more than one rug or cushion. Imperial can help create a complete floor-seating environment using selected pieces from our collection.
Depending on the requirements and availability of your project, a setting may include:
- Arabic Majlis and Majlis Diwan seating
- Afghani Toshak floor seating
- Afghani handmade rugs
- Portable Arabic-style floor seating and folding floor chairs
- Low coffee tables and nesting tables
- Cushions and complementary cultural pieces
For Film, TV, Advertising and Production
Imperial Homegoods is suitable for projects that need an authentic Middle Eastern or Arabic cultural floor-seating environment, including:
- Film and television productions
- Advertising campaigns and brand shoots
- Photography and editorial styling
- Theatre and set dressing
- Commercial content productions
- Hospitality and professional styling projects
- Approved premium commercial events
Arabic Majlis, Toshak and Cultural Floor Seating
Arabic Majlis is traditional low seating arranged for hospitality, gathering and conversation. Afghani Toshak is a traditional Afghan floor-seating style known for its rich patterns and flexible arrangement.
Together with rugs and low tables, these pieces can create a warm, culturally meaningful and visually strong setting for a scene, campaign or styled space.
Our collection is especially useful when a project requires real cultural floor seating rather than generic cushions or ordinary furniture.
